It's Saturday! A lot of people might or ARE excited for the weekends but, i'm NOT. I have a lot of projects to do and i know that it's not going to be a relaxing weekend for me.
So, i got out of bed and turned the TV immediately. I went to several channels and finally stopped with Star Movies. i don't know what the film was but, the characters seemed interesting so i stopped for a minute and watched.
It was the movie, "Welcome to Mooseport",a 2004 american film starring Ray Romano and Gene Hackman and was directed by Donald Petrie (Thanks Wikipedia! xD)
The movie was about a former president, Monroe Cole and a plumber Harold Harrison who is set to battle head to head for the mayoral race in Mooseport and for the heart of the woman named Sally. As the story progresses, Harold or Handy realized that he really doesn't need the position but Sally's heart, ONLY her heart. So, on the night before the elections, he announced that he would be voting for Monroe rather than for himself. Monroe, trying to gain the people's sympathy, also told the people the same.

Monroe was elected as new Mayor of Mooseport and found a new love in the person of her executive secretary, Grace. Meanwhile, Handy proposed to Sally who joyfully accepted the proposal.
The movie for me was great. It did not just tackle about love but also about life, that we should always live it keeping all of our principles in check, that no matter what happens, we should always live it with dignity and integrity. It also taught me that having enough is enough, that EXTRA things are just baggages along the way that would slow us down in our travel of life.
If you have time, go and stream or download the movie! I promise, it's worth it.
